Westward Ho Motel, Route 66, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The photograph was taken by me using a Bell&Howell SX300, a camera that had belonged to Mac, my brother-in-law but had been given to me by his wife and my sister, Ellen. I recall sitting in stunned silence when Mac inquired about his camera and Ellen denied any knowledge of it. Also memorable from that site were the long freight trains stacked with containers, perhaps goods that had come into port in Houston and were about to reach market in Albuquerque.
